The Rules of
Orthodox Peoples Christian Congregation
1. The
members of this congregation are all who love God and
respect His will.
2. The
congregation acknowledges Jesus Christ as the Saviour of
the world and orthodoxy as an obligatory religion.
3. The
aim of the congregation is the moral revival of the
people, making all of them capable for life on the Earth,
and connecting with all other movements that do the same.
4.
Members can be men or women of any age, even children.
5.
Methods of their work are:
Publication of
faith and morality education books,
The foundation of Christian libraries and
reading rooms,
The foundation of the "Mercy" fond
and helping the poor, the jeopardized and others that
are in the need of help,
Oral preaching of Gods words at any
place.
6. Important duties and
regulations are:
everyday
morning and evening prayer at home, and according to
the prayer book,
fasting every Wednesday and Friday and all
four annual fasts and giving the sacrament,
going to church regularly on Sundays and
holidays to attend the religious service,
being merciful and doing good deeds,
keeping orthodox icons, holy books, a cresset,
and a cross at home,
speaking the truth in every occasion, being
just, and being an example to all others.
